The 'logo' is one of the most important parts of branding for a church. It becomes an identifying symbol for your church and its mission.
I am providing some samples below, but logos should not be created in Microsoft Word or Publisher. Proper logos are created in a vector-based application, such as Adobe Illustrator. This allows the logo to be enlarged to fill a billboard without losing any print quality.
If you don't have a logo for your church, you should plan to have one designed. If you have a graphic designer in your congregation, consider asking them to design a logo for your church. They will then give you an electronic EPS file of the logo that you can use on anything — business cards, vinyl signs, letterhead, bulletins, etc.
